In 2022 Ross Mear used his own two feet to tramp the length of Aotearoa with nothing but his camera, the clothes on his back, and a 20kg backpack with a bunch of other essentials...
The result is North From Nowhere, a photographic journal of his misadventures making his way north to Cape Reinga from Bluff. In his path stands mountain ranges, rotting wetlands, grumpy farmers, and a constant fear of inadequacy.
